To my daughters
Caramel, you're my favorite because you represent the joy of the absurd and the simplicity of life, also you bear the flag of the constant struggle to not give up.
Aidelo, you're my favorite because you represent the awesomeness of the human brain and the intellectual side of the life, also you bear the flag of the constant learning process of the mind.
Natialac, you're my favorite because you represent the fearless attitude and the kindness of the heart, also you bear the flag of the constant creativity of the soul.

The next Pope
I found an article that talks about the prophecy of St. Malachy. The content is not interesting in itself, what I find interesting is that the author turns the vision and argues that the next pope will not be Petrus Romanus.
Petrus Romanus is not the next Pope
Who knows...

Good bye fat!
As usual, when you start something you start it with energy, passion and commitment. Today I woke up at 6 a.m. and complete 1.2 miles running and walking. I was accompanied by my dog that enjoy the little trip and I did enjoy also, but not now because I have terrible aches in my knees and ankles.
So I really hope to persevere and achieve the long dreamed loss weight.

Fitness Challenge
Well, today I entered to a fitness challenge, the goal is to reduce the BMI (Body Mass Index) as much as you can in three months. The one who achieve the greatest decrease will win US $200. I'll keep tracking of my progress in this blog. Currently my BMI is 34.3, pretty high!
The dream to lose weight is an older one and a recurrent failure, so I will do my best this time.
Also this will be a little exercise to improve my social behavior skills.

Dream come true
Do not know how many years pass looking forward to driving on a USA highway. Many times I planned the trip and I imagined walking every mile of the way, after the appearance of Google Street View made me easier the travel and planning of this trip so longed awaited.
I guess the more you want something is greater the anxiety and despair because that much desired does not come.
Thus, at the end of last year I was finally able to realize my dream of traveling on a road in the United States, and I did it with the people I love most in this world, my wife and my daughters.
It turned out as I had hoped because it was not an ecstatic experience, yet enjoy it precisely because the anxiety of doing was not with me, had stayed in Mexico. The three hour trip from Eagle Pass, TX to Laredo, TX was quiet, beautiful and relaxing, as long as I not enjoyed traveling by road.
Going finding American ranches and small towns made me love more U.S., see their organization, cleaning and some of their culture was amazing. The climax was when we reached the Interstate 35, it was as fully enter the modern U.S. and the first world, for a moment I felt in a movie of the future.
Now, while I am writing these lines the recall is magnified and embellished, I think because of that lack of anxiety with which I travel, also I see some of the pictures I took and my heart is filled with joy. Finally I can exclaim full of joy-I made it!

Here we are in a small town called Catarina, TX. The name is very similar to the name of my daughter who appears in the picture, how awesome is that!
